Stallion/Sire Information

The Fastnet Rock / Prickly Problem colt is a very strong colt, good shoulder & hind quarters like the sire; broke in exceptionally well and should go early; will be aimed at the early 2yo races.

His sire Fastnet Rock was Champion Australian 3YO Sprinter 2004-05.

He was an outstanding racehorse, beat our very own Alinghi in the Lightning & was 4th in the best Slipper for 10 years behind Dance Hero, Charge Forward, & Alinghi.

A son of Danehill and from a stakes winning Royal Academy mare, Fastnet Rock is widely tipped to be leading freshman sire next season.

Dam/Family Information

From a family saturated with international black type.

Dam is a half-sister to the three time Grade One winner BOUNDING BASQUE winner of the time honoured Wood Memorial Stakes, Brooklyn Handicap and Meadowlands Cup; and a half-sister to EL BASCO winner of the Grade Two Belmont Withers Stakes.
