The breaking-in update as mentioned was very positive from Jake Capewell who does not normally give much away, was very glowing in his comments.

I’ve bought successfully from that farm/vendor before and think we can repeat the dose here.

We are excited to offer you first access to a new yearling colt by Better Than Ready out of Culasse, to be trained by Queensland’s premier trainer, Tony Gollan.

Tony and I were keen to get this colt for obvious reasons:

• Out of a half sister to group 1 winner JONKER (now at stud) who was in fact trained by Tony

• Reminded Tony of JONKER

• Lovely balanced colt walked extremely well

After seeing first hand how lucrative and attainable racing success can be in Queensland, this opportunity made perfect sense. Tony Gollan isn’t just dominant in Brisbane — he consistently delivers results on the national stage, as showcased again last Spring Carnival with elite performers such as Antino and Transatlantic.
