The Yes Yes Yes story is getting better by the week.
An Everest winner himself, Yes Yes Yes has quickly established himself as one of Australia’s most exciting young stallions — and his progeny are now providing plenty of evidence that his racetrack brilliance is being passed on.
By Rubick out of the Fantastic Light mare Sin Sin Sin, Yes Yes Yes was a genuine star at two and three. He won the Group 2 Todman Stakes at two in race-record time, before producing one of Australian racing’s great sprinting performances — winning The Everest at three in track-record time.
And now, as a young sire, he is really starting to make his mark.
Yes Yes Yes as a leading Australian second-crop sire by individual winners, while his progeny have already produced eight stakes performers, including stakes winner Affirmative Action and Group 1-placed Firm Agreement.
His progeny profile is also exactly what you would expect from a stallion who was elite over sprinting distances — more than 60% of his winners’ wins coming at 1200m or less.
And that brings us to our colt.
